We Are Rooftop.
In Mark 2:1-12, four friends carry a paralyzed man to Jesus. When the crowd blocked the door, they didn't turn back. They carried him up, tore through the rooftop, and lowered him down (Mark 2:4). It took extreme effort, unwavering commitment to their friend, and a willingness to break through whatever stood between him and healing.
That story is the heartbeat of Rooftop.
Our founder, Frank, knows what it's like to be the man on the mat. He ran a construction operation that failed, and the risks that took it down were never hidden. They were simply never named: work performed before the licensing was straight, filings nobody was tracking, contracts signed without anyone reading the exposure, and money going out the door with no one watching it.
When it all came apart, there was no one to help him sort it out. No advisor sat with him and mapped what had gone wrong. He had to do it himself, one stack of paperwork at a time, one hard decision at a time, learning as he went because there was no other option.
Getting to the other side is what sparked Rooftop Financial. Frank knew there were thousands of business owners carrying the same unnamed risk, one bad notice or one review away from losing what they built, with nobody in their corner. He wanted to make sure they didn't have to climb out alone the way he did. What began as his own turnaround became a ministry: helping owners see their risk clearly, plan around it, and stay compliant.
That's the work we do every day. We assess where a business is exposed, build the plan to close it, keep the licenses, permits, and filings current, and stand beside our clients when a regulator comes asking.
Like the friends who tore through the roof, we carry what our clients have been carrying by themselves. We get on the roof. We do the heavy lifting.
